It is called “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles”, but it was born in Brussels. In reality it is a touring event, one of the most prestigious in the world of wine, and this year, for the 17th edition, it will take place in Palermo. In order for the tasters to become familiar with the procedures, the Regional Institute for wine and vines and the general direction of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles organized a tasting session for the 17th of February at 10.00 a.m. at the Villa Malfitano (via Dante, 167 – Palermo), head office of the Whitaker foundation. The aim of this technical meeting will be the selection of the international wines awarded during the last edition which took place in Valencia, Spain. The wine tasting will be lead by the general director of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Thomas Costenoble (photo) in order for the tasters to familiarize with the various types of samples and evaluate in a correct way the wines presented. Participation is free, but it needs to be confirmed at the following e-mail address: info@prcrepubbliche.it.
