In collaboration with the companies, IRVV  – Istituto Regionale della Vite e del Vino (Regional Institute for vines and wine) is offering logistical and physical support.  Asia is coming closer to Sicily, while saving time and money, giving the island an opportunity to internationalize with rapidly growing markets. 48,000 people attended Vinexpo Bordeaux, a record breaking 30% of which came from South East Asia.

Sicily can profit from the success of Mediterranean wines at Bordeaux.  The growth trend of Mediterranean wines is of great significance for Sicily, according to Experts at Vinexpo.  Sicily is the central point of this growth and well received at the international level.
