"The Bacchus’s circuit in the Venus cellars” was launched  Thursday at Villa Filippina in Palermo. The event connects culture and tourism with Sicilian cellars, where many women work. An event to celebrate the synergy between arts and womanhood, with its shows.

This itinerant event is promoted by the Regional authority of Tourism and by the Regional Institute of vine and wine. It will celebrate its first stage the 9th of July, and than it will move to all the Sicilian provinces. There will be events in 20 of the most beautiful “Venus cellars” of Sicily. The “wine ladies”, with their elegant and refined entrepreneurial talent, will compete with the artistic sensibilities of other women: actresses, musicians and dancers.

A lot of people will attend the presentation of the event to the journalist: Daniele Tranchida, Regional Councillor for tourism,  Marco Salerno, General Director of the Regional Institute for Tourism, Dario Cartabellotta, General Director of the Regional Institute for Vine and Wine, Elio Carreca Director of the Event Service for the Regional Institute for Tourism, Filippo Nasca Director for the Tourism Service of Palermo, Nino Aiello journalist for Gambero Rosso, and Orlando Biglieri producer and artistic director of the event.

Authorities, journalists and guests  will be entertained by a performance of some Bacchus’s circuit artists, during a happy hour dedicated to this occasion: there will be typical foods and wines from the 23 wine’s ladies.

The Bacchus’s circuit in the Venus cellars is included on the schedule of the Circuit of myth events, which is sponsored by the Sicilian Region Institute for Tourism, Sport and Events – Department for Tourism, Sport and Events.
