Italy is the main wine maker in the world, surpassing France, thanks to the great results of last harvest. The data from the Coldiretti reveal a production of 49,6 million hectolitres for Italy which is higher than the 46,2 millions of France.
According to Coldiretti this is a stunning growth, the USA is the country consuming the highest amount of wine compared to France and Italy. This data confirms the positive results of Italian wine whose export market reached extraordinary percentages in 2010.
