Ingredients:

1 kg sesame, 600 g. honey, 300 g. sugar, 250 g. toasted almonds, orange peel.

 

Preparation:

Melt the honey in a pan with the sugar and cook until bubbles appear.

Add the sesame to the honey and stir with a wooden spoon for around 20 minutes. Add the almonds and the orange peel cut into slices.

After twenty minutes prepare a humid cloth and pour the cubaita which is still not solid. Spread the dough with a knife creating a 1-centimtre layer. Cut into rhombuses and cool down.
