Cesare Prandelli will be the new coach of the Italian soccer team after the World Championship. Former Fiorentina manager met the president of the Italian soccer League, Giancarlo Abete, and reached an agreement.

Prandelli will be introduced in his new role after the South African World Championship 2010. The contract will last four years and the technical staff that will support the new coach, who will replace Marcello Lippi, will soon be announced.
