Three apartments turned into whorehouses were discovered by the police coordinated by the head prosecutor of Ragusa Carmelo Petralia. The apartments were used by three Colombian women, 28, 31 and 52 years old, who had European citizenship thanks to their marriages. The women are accused of prostitution. The investigation, ordered by the chief of police Filippo Barboso, started after the continual presence of men in the building. The clients were found thanks to ads on local newspapers and the internet. The 52-year old Colombian woman and her Venezuelan friend, 57 years old, are also accused of threatening the owners of the flats of the condo. People in fact had complained about the noises provoked by the people who saw the prostitutes.
