Two people, accused of producing and selling pedopornographic materials, were arrested thanks to an operation coordinated by the prosecutor’s offices of Florence and Syracuse. They are an accountant from Calenzano (Florence), 65, and a former teacher and local administrator from Chioggia (Venice), who made abroad pedopornographic books with minors and then sold the pictures on the internet. The payment took place through the post office or credit cars. The order of arrest was given by the judge for the preliminary investigation of Florence Pietro Ferrante, on the orders of the head prosecutor Giuseppe Quattrocchi and vice prosecutor Vincenzo Ferrigno, who also ordered the impoundment of an office owned by another person under investigation in Montecatini Terme (Pistoia). The investigation, which started thanks to the report of Telefono Arcobaleno, was carried out by the investigators of Syracuse and the carabinieri of Florence.
