The Guardia di Finanza and the Carabinieri of Cosenza arrested 67 alleged members of an ‘Ndrangheta clan. The people arrested are accused of Mafia association, extortion, usury and drug traffic. The blitz was carried out in the province of Cosenza, but also near Rome, Reggio Calabria, Foggia, Bologna, Brescia and Milan. Mario and Franco Straface, the brothers of Corigliano’s mayor, were also arrested.
