An Italian manager at a hotel in the Philippines was killed along a street, a police report said. Sergio Mazza, 38, director of the food and beverage section of the Shangri-la Hotel in Makati City, died from a single gunshot wound to the head by a stranger who approached the Italian on a street corner near Ayala Avenue in Makati. Investigators still have to determine the motive for the murder but said it does not look like a robbery since Mazza’s belongings were intact.
