More than one student out of ten has sent at least once in the last 6 months vulgar, cruel or threatening messages online. 2.5% did it more than 5 times. These numbers were given by a research on “cyber-bullying”, promoted by the association “Occhi Aperti”, eyes open, that monitors cyberstalking amongst young people. The research involved 951 students from Milan aged on average 16.5. 6.7% has received messages that undermine their safety, while 8% humiliated people online.
