Last night Mario Bignone, 43 years old, died in Palermo. The head of the Mafia task force passed away from an incurable disease. Last winter Bignone arrested two important Mafia members, Domenico Raccuglia and Gianni Nicchi. This morning his body will be brought to the small chapel of the police department of Palermo.
