He crossed the tracks to get his dog that had escaped, without seeing the train that killed him. Wounded also his seven-month-old daughter whom he was carrying in his baby carrier. The victim of this tragic accident was a 38-year-old oenologist, Enrico Zoccolan, from Pradipozzo (Venice). The baby, saved by her father’s body, was hospitalized in serious conditions at the hospital of Treviso, where she underwent an operation.
