Alice Bellotto, a girl who had won the title of Miss Wella Veneto, already admitted to the national pre-finals of Miss Italia, has been excluded from the annual competition for some nude photos which appeared on the Internet.

The regional manager Dario Diviacchi, in agreement with the legal part of Miss Italia, communicated the disqualification under article 8 of the Regulation for which "the competitors must not have been portrayed in nude or indecent poses".

Bellotto’s  place was awarded to Elisa Da Canal Belluno, who was placed second in the ranking of that title. We are sorry” – said Patrizia Mirigliani, owner of Miss Italia – the rules have to be respected and all the girls have to pay close attention to be photographed in positions that can turn out to be provocative.”
